It's easy to run from what is and hide in the midst of trivial passages of time. But the truth is that there is a sense of urgency in life that deserves recognition. Some things cannot be set in corners of obscure rooms and not rot away at the life around them. Stagnant grace is like that, it's much better to pick it up and lather up, washing away the layers of grime from being so far from the forgiveness that was so intimately considered as part of daily life. Potentially a worse situation than not knowing the grace, at least choosing to not choose Christ is honest. Reaching out towards that abandoned gift, I'm all the more aware of how far away I'd stashed it. How long has it been since I've even wanted to express something, I can't tell.

The beauty of renewal is that it is just as amazing the 274,936th time (and no, I haven't actually kept track, that's just a very rough estimate). I think a submission would be in order.
